FOCUSING ON THE FUTURE OF RENEWABLES 

KB Renewables GmbH is a joint venture of Koehler Group’s subsidiary Koehler Renewable Energy GmbH from Oberkirch and CMB Energy GmbH from Giessen founded in April 2025 driving energy transition and leveraging synergies. 

The focus of the company lies in the future of renewable energy supply with the development of onshore wind farms in Germany. Covering the entire value chain process, project realization is implemented by the comprehensive expertise of an experienced management team. 

By 2030, KB Renewables is supporting Koehler Group’s overall sustainability goal (more energy generation than consumption in paper production) with at least 1 GW project volume in development or operation
